How do I know if I’m too thin?
There’s a way to assess my thickness: the Body Mass Index. However, it’s hard to get your bearings because everyone has different criteria.
Personally, I prefer to use Devine formula.
If I’m under the calculated ideal body weight : yes, I am underweight.
Causes of skinniness
Generally, there is a combination of the following causes:
- Emotional causes.
- Muscular weakness.
- Digestive disorders.
- Certain medications.
Why regain weight?
A body that’s too thin is a sign of dysfunction.
To regain weight, it’s not advisable to continue eating when my body is no longer hungry. It’s better to resolve the causes of my lack of appetite.
The same applies if I eat a lot and don’t gain weight: my body is dysfunctional, and I can restore harmony.
The aim is not to have a belly, but a well-proportioned body.
How can I gain weight?
If I eat my fill, then I can turn to emotional causes.
My body is trying to send me a message through thinness: I have traumas that are disrupting my metabolism.
