Felt sense


Many people are cut off from their intuitive sensing, or do not trust it.

But it is a wonderful compass that always points in the best direction!

What is felt sense?

This is what I feel deep inside my physical body.

Example: I walk into a room and I feel like a heavy sensation.

Why use my felt sense?

My body’s felt sense allows me to connect to my inner wisdom.

If I feel that something does not fit me, then it is not for me.

How am I influenced?

If I don’t listen to myself internally, then I am controlled by my environment.

Felt senses can be influenced by:

  • Emotions.
  • Emotional wounds.
  • Beliefs.
  • Energies, subtle entities.

Example: If I am angry, I will have difficulty listening to myself and making a wise decision.

How to use my felt sense?

The prerequisite for being able to trust my felt sense is to be :

  • Grounded.
  • Aligned.
  • Centered.


To ground myself, I can imagine roots reaching from my feet into the ground.

On the exhale, I send what I don’t need into the ground.

On the inhale, I feed myself with the energy of the Earth.


To align myself, I first need to align my cranio-sacral axis, that is, the axis between my skull and my sacrum.

Then, I can imagine a beam of light coming from the center of the Universe, which descends through my crown.

It passes gently through the cranio-sacral axis, before continuing its way to the center of the Earth.


To center myself, I can breathe out into my hara, located just below the navel.

When I am in my center, I can listen to my physical sensations.

If I am used to listening to my mind, it is not necessarily obvious. A training time may be necessary.

If I feel a tension, then an emotion is present. I can use the process of emotional acceptance.

Listening to my body

Once these conditions are met, I can listen to my felt sense and trust it.

I can ask a question, and listen to the answer:

  • If I feel a lightness in my body, it’s a yes.
  • If I feel a heaviness, it’s a no.

Or I can listen to my intuition.

Then I can let myself be guided.

How do I listen to my felt sense?

By being perfectly present in my body.

Then, my inner sensations guide me towards the authentic expression of my being.

In other words, trusting my gut feeling is the best way to be myself.
